 ABOUT THE ROLE
 
We are seeking a talented and career-minded Sous Chef to join our growing culinary team. This is a long-term opportunity for a passionate and driven professional looking to take the next step in their culinary career. The Sous Chef will work closely with the Executive and Head Chefs to manage kitchen operations, ensure food quality and consistency, and maintain a clean and efficient work environment. You will play a vital role in leading our back-of-house team and ensuring a top-tier dining experience for our guests. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Assist in daily kitchen operations alongside Executive and Head Chefs

  • Supervise and support line cooks during prep and service

  • Set up and stock stations with necessary supplies

  • Prepare ingredients and components for menu items (e.g., chopping vegetables, preparing sauces, butchering meat)

  • Cook dishes to chef’s specifications with consistency and attention to detail

  • Ensure timely and high-quality food presentation

  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and sanitation standards in all work areas

  • Monitor and manage inventory, minimizing waste and controlling food costs

  • Follow all health, safety, and food handling guidelines

  • Foster a positive, team-oriented environment among kitchen staff


Requirements and Qualifications:
 
  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef, Line Cook, Prep Cook, or similar role in a fast-paced kitchen

  • Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, kitchen equipment, and procedures

  • Ability to perform efficiently in a high-pressure environment while maintaining attention to detail

  • Strong leadership and communication skills

  • Culinary degree or relevant certification preferred

  • Commitment to upholding kitchen cleanliness and sanitation standards

  • Passion for food and a strong desire to grow within the culinary industry

Compensation: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
